Welcome! GLIDE is our Jr High youth Ministry here at Grace Chapel.  We strive to provide a great place for our students to learn from God’s word and grow in relationship with each other and Him.  Our passion is relationship, so let me tell you a little bit about how we accomplish this!

Our Services

Sunday Mornings (9:00am & 11:11am)

Our Sunday service is a time for our students & adult leaders to come together for worship. Students arrive on Sundays and get to connect with each other & familiar adult volunteers. Then we worship through music, giving, & teaching God’s Word. This year, our teaching is based on the “Discipleship Journey” book that our entire church is doing, & our weekly lessons correspond to the study schedule that the church is following.

Wednesday Nights (6:30pm-8:00pm)

On Wednesdays, we meet briefly as a large group for worship and a recap of our lesson from the previous Sunday. Then we break into small groups and spend time looking at practical ways to apply what we are learning, and also allow time to talk about what’s going on in each other’s lives. The great part about small groups is that we are intentionally building relationships by having the same students & adult leaders together each week. We do this by organizing our groups by grade and gender, and by keeping the same leaders together with that group as the students continue to advance a grade each year in school. This creates the potential for years of growth and the opportunity to share life together! 

Special Events

Once a month on Wednesday nights, we have what we call “Game Night”. This is an opportunity for us to get together as a group and enjoy Pizza and fun together.  Our goal for “Game Night” is to have a blast enjoying the relationships we have with each other and creating an environment where new relationships can grow. We also have a variety of trips and activities planned throughout the year, including Summer Camp, Winter Retreat, and the Luau. 

Our Heart

Our Youth Ministry is committed to equipping young passionate believers of Jesus Christ, and we believe that developing lasting relationships with our Jr. High students is the foundation to accomplish this.

Go on a Mission Trip to China Without ever Leaving Home!
Grace Chapel has the unique opportunity of hosting Kids On Stage Arts Academy this summer. There will 100 students from China in our church the week of July 20-29th. If you are interested in hosting a student or chaperone in your home or serving in other available ways please email china@gracechapel.net.

Join us for Summer Camp at Deer Run Retreat June 3-8th! Cost of summer camp is $375 and includes a fun filled week at Deer Run, meals, lodging, transportation, missions outreach, t-shirt and more! Grab your sign-up brochure and turn in with a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot!

Summer Camp Informational Meeting - Sun. June 2nd
We will hold a Summer Camp Informational Meeting on Sunday June 2nd in-between services (about 10:40a) and after 2nd service (about 1:45p) in the jr. high room. We welcome parents and students to come ask questions, turn in waivers, final balances and to hear more information about the week. A notary will be present.

Summer 7 - A week's worth of FUN... spread out over the Summer!
We are starting to announce and open sign-ups for our Summer 7 events! See below for dates and also information on pricing. (Note: Some events require advanced sign-ups and payment).

Thurs. June 13th: Sky High - 1:00p-3:00p
Cost: $18.00 (Includes 2hrs. at Sky High)
No advanced registration required. No transportation provided. We will see you there!

Mon. June 17th: White Water Rafting - 8:00a-7:30p
Cost: $40.00 (Includes White Water Rafting & Transportation)
Bring extra money for lunch & dinner (Suggested $20.00)

Fundraising Opportunities
We offer fundraising year round to help off-set costs of upcoming trips. Contact Amy at amy@gracechapel.net if you want to sign-up or need information on the following:

Hire a Teen: If you’re interested in getting hired by church members to earn money for youth group events.
Sonic Cards: Each card sells for $10 and is good at all Sonic locations in Williamson and Maury County. Students will keep 100% of the profit to put toward their youth group trips. Limit 5 at one time. All checks made payable to Grace Chapel.
